H2O/Bane Halloween Bash!

The show was just the tour package dubbed the PMA tour (H2O/Bane/Energy/Cruel Hand).  I love short shows.  A few people were dressed up for Halloween, show was a ton of fun, and pretty packed as well.

Check out all the sets on my Flickr here!

Trash Talk at the ICC

Trash Talk and Alpha & Omega are on tour from California.  They came and played the ICC.  It was a quick 4 band show, no pictures from New Lows, because I shot them with film for school, it will be interesting to see how that turns out.

Heather Horrible on Film

So my friend Heather came into the city because I had to shoot portraits for my Photo 1 class.  We had a real good time shooting and she is a great girl.  All these photos were shot with with my Rebel G 35mm on Kodak T-Max 400 film using my 50mm 1.4 lens.  The indoor shots I used 1 B800 with a 22″ beauty dish.

Today was our critique and I got the highest grade in the class.  I am very pleased.  Working with film, black and white, and the darkroom is such a whole new experience I feel like I am starting from scratch.  But hopefully it will advance me as a photographer.

I aplogize for the crappy quality of my scanner, but I really wanted these up on here.

These are astounding. I wish I could learn about darkrooms and film more, but seriously congrats on grade. P.S. on a sidenote, one of the guys in Protagonist I saw at Party City and I don’t think he recognized me but it was like “WOAH! Flashback from 3 months ago!” Great job.
