It still doesn’t feel real that I flew halfway around the world to Japan to photograph this amazing wedding. Although I did not understand 99% of what was said during the wedding, love sometimes transcends language and this was definitely one of those occasions. Even in a room on the other side of the planet, I was still filled with the same familiar happiness of seeing a couple deeply in love. A few favorite moments were when the wedding party entered both the ceremony and the reception doing some choreographed dancing to popular Glee songs. Also when Ryosuke, the groom, tossed a head of broccoli to mirror Milai’s bouquet toss. Overall, this wedding was nothing short of incredible. I want to extend my thanks to the Kinoshita family for bringing me to Japan and giving me a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget.
