Jeanette + Andrew - Willowdale Estate Wedding Photography

I am so lucky that I got to spend my last wedding of 2012 with this lovely couple at one of my favorite venues in Massachusetts. Jeanette and Andrew have a long love story dating all the way back to when they first met in 1993! And now they got to celebrate that love on a unseasonably warm and beautiful December day. Two of the sweetest, kindest people with great senses of humor. Thank you guys for letting be a part of your big day. I am so happy to share these images with the world!

And into 2013...

This has been such an amazing year, my life has never been closer to perfect. I met amazing couples, photographed said amazing couples fantastic weddings, started The Danger Booth, traveled all over the US (Florida, New York, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Montreal, Vermont, Nashville, Raleigh, Maine, + Chicago), had the opportunity to photograph a wedding and make new friends in Tokyo, was featured on a WHOLE bunch of different blogs, spent lots of time with my girlfriend, friends, and family. I even walked away without anything but a big scar on my leg from what could have been a very tragic car accident. So I wrapped up my last wedding of 2012 a couple weeks ago and I came back to my homestate of FL to spend some time with my family and girlfriend. It's been a perfect way to wrap up the year.

I'm posting a few new photos I took while on vacation rather than a recap of 2012 wedding photos, because you've seen those and I'll be updating my portfolio soon anyway.

Here's to looking forward and to making 2013 even better than 2012. Thank you to everyone that has come along for this ride with me, I genuinely thank you. I could not imagine my life any different than it is today.

Aimee + Chris are engaged!

Aimee and Chris are great.  Is there much else to say? Yes. There is a lot more to say.  They have a beautiful house right on the NH border in Maine. They both have super cool jobs (CHRIS WORKS ON A SUBMARINE!!). And they have a woodsy cat named Hank.  We started off by taking some photos in the woods behind their house and then we moved on to downtown Portsmouth, which is not only where they regularly hang out, but also where they had their first date!  Such a beautiful town with so much character, I can't believe that was my first time there.  As usual I'm blabbing, here is a peek into some of the awesome shots we took with this killer couple.  I can't wait to shoot their wedding, I know its going to totally kick some butt.

Aliyah + Jaelyn in the Park

3 year-old Aaliyah is classmates with my niece Rylan so when Patty got wind that I was going to be in town we set up a shoot and I got the chance to meet up with all of them and take some photos. Good times were had and adorable photos were taken!

Heather + Philip's Downtown Wedding

Heather and Philip tied the knot in the beautiful King's Chapel and the partied the night away at the State Room, and even with a rainy day, spirits where extremely high.  Everyone was stoked to be around this awesome couple and celebrate their love.  You could feel it in the air and Chuck Wansley and his awesome band kept everyone dancing all night. Thanks to my awesome assistant Lowell Meyer for helping out, I'm very bummed he's moving out to LA in September.  Also Carrie Scott from Longwood Events was a kick-ass planner, I can't thank her enough.
